Meet The Team

Jon Maas

My name is Jon Maas and I've been working for Top Notch Tree Service my entire life, but full-time for the last six years. On the job site, most of the time, you'll see me working in the bucket from above or buzzing around running in our forestry mower. I love my job and what I get to do each day. On my days off, I enjoy golf cart rides with my family and being active outside on our country property.

Matt Maas

My name is Matt and I’ve been working with trees my entire life, since my dad started the company, but full-time for the last seven years. I always knew growing up that this is exactly what I wanted to do as a career. Most days you will see me operating the loader or skid steer, moving trees, or doing whatever needs to be done to make the job run smoothly. In my free time, I enjoy shooting guns on my range or taking golf cart rides with my family.

Paul Maas

My name is Paul Maas and together, with my wife, Julie, we are the owners of Top Notch Tree Service. In 1984, I bought my first chainsaw and borrowed my Dad's pickup truck and started taking down trees and selling the firewood. I always dreamed of owning my own business. In 1998, Top Notch Tree Service officially got its name. It has always been a family business, as our kids grew up dragging brush, and splitting and bundling firewood. We are grateful for the way God has blessed our business and allowed us to grow throughout the years. Today we are privileged to have an amazing, hardworking and dedicated crew. They strive to leave each job site with a satisfied customer and a job well done. In our spare time, we love to spend time with our children and grandchildren.
